INTRODUCTION

A famous German battleship of WWII, the Bismarck is known for sinking the British battle cruiser and flagship HMS Hood during the Battle of the Denmark Strait. Three days later, the Bismarck met her own fiery end after being heavily pursued by a vengeful British navy and air force. The Bismarck's eight 15” guns and top speed of up to 30 knots made her a formidable and feared opponent when she sailed the icy WWII waters of the Atlantic.
